Nigel Cabourn for Eddie Bauer Canadian Vests
Way back in January, Selectism previewed the Nigel Cabourne work for Eddie Bauer. They mentioned it looked to be an EU exclusive and this still remains. END has stock on two excellent “Canadian Vests” from the collection. Avaialble in orange check and midnight blue, the vests were originally designed for the military but today, flipped in the way only Cabourn can: Harris Tweed hits, square quilting with calf skin shoulders.
Deus Secker Merino Sweater
Deus has just released the first items in a new series of merino wool goods. Made locally (to them) in Outback townships, these pieces celebrate the brilliance of merino wool with simple styling. We’re all about the Secker sweater, which comes in both black and navy and should easily find a role in the wardrobe – motocycle inspired or otherwise.
Baracuta G10 Daniels Ripstop Harrington Jacket
The Baracuta company’s revival continues.. Founders, John and Isaac Miller produced the first Harrington jacket in 1937. They have since expanded their collection by introducing another great piece, the “G10 Harrington Jacket”. The jacket offers a “shower resistant coating, mesh lining, internal pockets.
Acne Stan Jacket
Acne shows us a new addition to their collection. The new “Stan SS11? jacket blends leather details on a classic sports jacket. They did the sports jacket a couple seasons back but the leather detail is new. The jacket is slim fitting and has offers a contrasting leather collar, wide banded ribbed hem and cuffs and single welt pockets with snap closures. It is made of 100% nylon and the collar is made of 100% calf leather. The jacket is only offered in navy with the black accents. A nice jacket for spring. It’s available at AcneStudios.
Bosun Merino Wool Jacket
Mission Workshop has been expanding on their full apparel collection. They’ve expanded on numerous shoe styles as well as developing a new base layer for the popular “Orion Waterproof Shell.” The “Bosun Merino Wool Jacket” is made of New Zealand merino wool and offers an external mobile phone pocket, touring-style zippers, internal ipod pocket and tweave reinforced shoulders and elbows. The jacket has entire bottom ¾ of the jacket in the merino wool fabric for added mobility. The perfect cyclist base layer that can also double as a lightweight jacket for the Spring.
