Selectism once heard someone say that all ‘designer’ sneakers are terrible. Selectism beg to differ. Take Mr Kimmel’s offerings for instance. They’ve been consistently great for a while and this chukka is a perfect example of why designer sneakers have something to offer. And it’s on sale, which is nice.

Despite Lanvins footwear offerings going a bit DMX lately*, there’s always a couple of models we like. These aren’t paradigm breakers but they’re all of the words people use to describe an item like this – clean, minimal, classic. It does make us wish that adidas would pull their finger and make some high quality versions of the Stan Smith – it’d sell like hot cakes. Or a pair of trainers. One of the two.

It looks like all of hold Persol in as high esteem as thisheartsonfire.com do. They got email after email after email. In case they haven’t said this before: the winner is always picked at random, so all the heart fel please from them buddies didn’t go unnoticed, but don’t hate us if you didn’t win.

Unsurprisingly, we like feeling bawsy around the house. And, for us at least, the best way to do that is by wearing some bawse-like slippers. Actually slippers isn’t grand enough a name – we prefer the term ‘house shoes’. Our only problem with these is that we can’t walk down the street in them.

Selectism’re reticent to proclaim anyone the new anything, but they’ve noticed that Raf Simon’s sneaker options have been looking better and better while Lanvin, the previous holder of the designer high-top title, have been in a slump. They’re also sure that there’s a ’stay strapped’ hip hop reference to be made somewhere, but They’re too lazy to think of one.

While these hoof-like leather creations could be casually avant-garde on a woman, this is a wild pair of men’s boots. Few dudes would have the confidence – let alone the style and desire – to wear such a boot. Actually, only one comes to mind, and that’s Lenny Kravitz – he’s even worn all-out high heels! Man or woman, these will look like a sloppy puddle of leather to some and pure edgy-cool to others. Snob Tina is somewhat torn in between. She adore Rick Owens’ ready-to-wear, but she’s not convinced his shoes are on the same par. And for a whopping $3,135, they’d better be some sick boots for her (add a heel to these and they might be).

Shoes are design to give comfort, and the design is suit for the occasion. For street walking there is casual shoes, for office work you can find dress shoes, for heavy track you can use boots and for sport shoes are specially design with the sport activity to give best comfort and performance to the player. Athletic, tennis, basket ball, soccer, football, bowling and much more sport have different design.

The material of shoes is the most important factor to assuring comfortable walk. Soft material yet strong enough for durability is the best choice. Soft material will give comfort feeling and strong factor will give long life to the shoes, as we know that shoes should hold up our body weight along the walking.
